What is AR?

AR was dismissed in Japan around 10 years ago as a technology without much utility. However, the technological advancements and innovations over the past decade and the ubiquity of smartphones have made AR (and now especially Web AR) an attractive tool for clients to use to increase customer engagement and a wider reach.
